Wonder Woman Beauty and the Beasts

We can see how confused, naive and fearful she is of what she does not understand...male and female relationships and the stirrings she feels when she sees Clark. Myndi Mayer and Clark set up her "date" with Superman and that would lead into Action # 600. The last 2 images show how young Diana is when it comes to understanding men and the heart. Sad really when you think that once she does understand what she wants and him, he moved on.

Wonder Woman is fighting a fake Doomsday and Superman feels compelled to help her. But when she defeats "Doomsday" before his arrival he opts out of talking to her b/c he had just broken up with Lois and is afraid of how he might act around Diana.

This is basically Diana's version of "For the Man who has Everything". Apparently in Diana's perfect world, she brings world peace and marries Superman (ignore the hideous wedding dress). Unfortunately it's a dream world and Batman makes her see the truth. And poor Diana, Clark doesn't even acknowledge what just happened, he just flies away leaving Diana to cry by herself. That last line kills me.
