Superman & Wonder Woman

With their similar costumes and powers your eyes naturally pair them together, but the reasoning behind this relationship is much deeper than that. Ever since Kal-El first laid his eyes on the Amazonian princess there were fireworks. You might think a Kansas farmboy would have trouble connecting with royalty but this is far from the case. This goodhearted pair connect on every level, recognizing the responsibilities they share as well their similar goals and ideals. Of course they're not entirely similar; Diana's warrior heart and Clark's boy scout nature make for an interesting combination indeed. And while they never actually dated, they did build one of the greatest friendships in the DCU- a friendship often wrought with unresolved sexual tension (and sometimes resolved in elseworlds).

While many see her as an unsupportive cape-chaser, it's difficult to disregard her character entirely given her history with Superman. But after 60 odd years enough is enough! The Superman/Lois Lane relationship has gotten stale in many a reader's mouth. Now we're not asking Superman to cheat on the Daily Planet's #1 reporter (that would be entirely out of character for him), but we are asking for a death or even a timely divorce.
