Superman and Wonder Woman's first "date". I'm having trouble calling it a date b/c it gets interrupted by Darkside (stupid idiot ruined everything for us shippers). After the pair saves the day Superman thinks it's best they remain friends (even though he really likes her) b/c they're too different from one another- and by different I mean alien farmboy vs. magical princess with mythological buddies. Apparently Superman thought Diana was way out of his league (Superman!!). Now isn't that some bullshit?

Some people don't like this comic b/c of the improbability of going without love for 1000 years, but I can't help but love it. You can't deny the beauty of the writing (and I can't believe how this story is contained in only one issue- it's amazing) and the beauty in SM/WW's frienship that shines through. They must truely love and trust each other after 1000 years together. I only wish that more emphasis was placed on Diana's POV after they left Asgard, but it's a Superman book so what are you gonna do.

Just a few more scenes taken from the "Our Worlds at War" arc where Diana and her mother are hurt.

Superman's villains gang up on him and it's suprising that Diana is the only hero to show up and help him out (besides Superboy who's like family).

Never one to beat around the bush, Superboy flat out asks Diana if she loves Superman and of course she answers with the typical "I love him, but we're just friends!" You're not fooling anyone sweety.

The Trinity has a big blow up after the whole "Identity Crisis" drama. Diana doesn't like Clark and Bruce's pansy way of dealing with criminals and leaves in a huff. Despite their anger towards each other, Superman can't help but be touchy feely with Diana.

Superman enlists the league's help in figuring out wtf is wrong with him during the "Sacrifice" arc. I absolutely adore how Clark only feels comfortable with J'onn entering his mind when Diana is present aswell.

Takes place right after Diana snaps Max Lord's neck. More than a little sad.
